ClockOut is a time clock for hourly and shift-based teams: an employee taps clock in on their phone, the punch is stamped with the time and GPS location, and a manager sees the hours, schedules, and timesheets in one dashboard.
Use ClockOut on any phone today
ClockOut is a web app. There is nothing to install and nothing to wait for: open the site in Safari, Chrome, or any other browser, sign in, and start tracking time. Employees clock in and out from their own phones, and managers get the full dashboard for schedules, timesheets, approvals, and reports on the same account.
Clock in and clock out also work offline. If a phone loses connection, the punch is saved on the device and syncs automatically with its original tap time once the phone reconnects. Starting and ending breaks need a connection.

ClockOut ships a web app manifest, so you can pin it to the home screen and open it like any other app, full screen and without the browser bars.

On iPhone
Open useclockout.com in Safari, tap the share button at the bottom of the screen, scroll down, and tap Add to Home Screen. Confirm the name and tap Add.

Open useclockout.com in Chrome, tap the three-dot menu, and tap Add to Home screen or Install app. Confirm the prompt.

Sign in once
Open the new icon and sign in. The app stays signed in, so clocking in is one tap on the next shift.
iOS and Android apps
Native ClockOut apps for iPhone and Android are built and going through App Store and Google Play review. They are coming soon, and the store links will appear on this page as soon as they are live. The store listing will be named ClockOut Time Clock.
Nothing has to wait on that. The web app has the same employee time clock, and a home-screen install behaves like the native app for day-to-day clocking in.
What the app does
- GPS clock-in. Every punch is stamped with a location, on every plan including Free.
- Geofences. Restrict clock-ins to the work area. Geofence enforcement is on Starter and Pro.
- Scheduling. Build weekly employee schedules, with recurring shifts, open shifts, and swaps on Starter and Pro.
- PTO. Balances, requests, and approvals on Starter and Pro.
- Overtime. Weekly overtime with your own threshold, plus daily overtime and double-time rules in the Pro compliance pack.
- Payroll CSV exports. Payroll-formatted files for ADP, Gusto, and QuickBooks on Pro, plus a generic CSV. These are file downloads, not API connections.
- Kiosk mode. A shared tablet where employees clock in with a four-digit PIN, for teams that do not use personal phones. Starter and Pro.

No. That is a different company. ClockOut at useclockout.com is an employee time clock, scheduling, and payroll-export app for small businesses, made by Ophy Labs Inc.
Do employees need to download anything?
No. ClockOut runs in the phone browser, so an employee can open the link, sign in, and clock in. They can add it to the home screen if they want an app icon.
Does it work on Android and iPhone?
